Der ab 1970 produzierte ARP 2600 gehört nicht zuletzt durch seine "vorverkabelten"
Module zu den interessantesten modularen Klassikern. Standardverbindungen im
Signalfluss des ARP 2600 sind bereits intern vorhanden, so dass der Synthesizer ohne
Stecken von Patchkabeln direkt spielbar ist. Bei Bedarf lassen sich jedoch alle Module
durch entsprechende Buchsen frei verschalten.
Arturia hat dieses bewährte System beim ARP 2600 V übernommen und mit vielen
sinnvollen Features erweitert. Neben dem legendären Model 1601 Step Sequenzer bietet
der virtuelle Nachbau zusätzliche Filtermodelle des ARP 2500, OSC1 + OSC2
Synchronisation, Effekte, Polyphonie und das neue Arturia Tracker/LFO Modul, das die
Erzeugung neuartiger Modulationen in Echtzeit ermöglicht.
