Was ist BRASS?
BRASS ist ein neu entwickeltes virtuelles Instrument, dass den Klang einer Trompete, eines Saxophons und einer Posaune erzeugt. Dieses Instrument bietet die gleichen Möglichkeiten, die auch ein professioneller Instrumentalist zur Verfügung hat: die Kontrolle über den Klang, die Flexibilität und die Ausdrucksstärke eines Blasinstruments. Ohne jahrelanges Training bietet BRASS ein sofortiges Erlebnis.

BRASS basiert auf neu entwickelter Physical Modelling Technologie. Alle charakteristischen Eigenschaften eines echten Instruments wurden im berühmten Pariser IRCAM Institut analysiert und dann in einem physikalischen Modell nachgebildet. Zusammen mit Arturia wurden dann diese Modelle in BRASS integriert und sorgen dort für einen authentischen und lebendigen Klang.

Was bietet mir BRASS?
Es stehen drei Instrumente zur Auswahl, wählen Sie eines und fangen Sie einfach an zu spielen. Sie werden sofort merken, dass BRASS sich wie ein richtiges Instrument spielen lässt und nicht aus statischen Samples besteht.
Zusätzlich bietet BRASS eine große Auswahl an Performance Riffs, die Sie nach Belieben erweitern und modifizieren können. Diese nach Stilen sortierten Riffs können zum Beispiel auch in Echtzeit in einer Live Performance getriggert werden.

Ob Sie nun vorgefertigte Riffs im Riff Modus abrufen oder die verschiedenen Instrumente im Live Modus spielen, BRASS eröffnet Ihnen neue und ausdruckstarke Möglichkeiten.

BRASS is a new kind of virtual instrument based on a physical modeling technology. It emulates a Trumpet, a Trombone and a Saxophone. All the characteristics of the real instruments have been analyzed and modeled through extensive research at world-renowned IRCAM institute. Arturia has partnered with this highly skilled team of researchers to bring this groundbreaking technology to the musician, in the form of a software instrument. BRASS is an extremely expressive, flexible and controllable instrument, and thus a fantastic alternative to loops or music libraries.
